80’s

Inspired by the bold colors and expressive forms of postmodernism, this collection features sculptural home décor pieces—coffee tables, vases, pots, and pedestals—that invite joy and intentional living into everyday spaces.

In a fast-paced world where fantasy often gives way to functionality, this collection reclaims the idea of taking it easy. It’s a gentle rebellion against the coldness of industrialism—a return to play, emotion, and warmth.

At the center is the coffee table—a gathering spot where conversations happen, mugs are shared, and connections are made. It’s a functional piece with a personal role in everyday life.

Sometimes, all we need is a quiet corner to unwind. This collection invites you to make space for that.

Concept Board

Dimensions

  • The table top is made out of cherry wood. The shape was modeled in Rhino and brought to life using the CNC machine.

The legs for the table were 3D printed using clay and was then glazed.

Process

  • Sketched out some prints that are inspired from the memphis colors and forms.

These prints were later glazed on my miniature pots.

  • Modeled different forms of legs in Rhino and selected 3 for the final prototype
